Mubarak Goth or Mubarak Village is a fishing village in Kemari Town in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. It is located along the shore of Arabian Sea in District West of Karachi.
The village is 30 km away from city center with a population of more than 10,000 people. The most of the people in this village are Baloch.
The spot has resurfaced on the radar for picnic-loving Karachiites who are pulled to its beaches, picturesque landscape, and its proximity to Charna Island, a popular spot for scuba diving and snorkeling adventures.
Charna Island is an hour away from the Mubarak Village , which have become a center of attraction for the water sports.
The popularity of water sports and other activities brought the employment and revenue for the locals at some extent.
Companies like the Pak Scuba, that offers snorkeling, scuba diving and other water activities, hires the locals as support divers, helpers, boats and pay for parking, that helps generate revenue and give chance for locals to develop.
Mubarak Village is like an oasis in the wilderness. The road leading to it passes through dusty terrain, with gusts of wind carrying sand to welcome each guest.
The place is a natural harbour with rocky hills at one side, with calming the water near the shore and allowing fishing boats to anchor.
The water here is jeweled shades of blue and the sand has not yet lost its colour like the rest of industrialised Karachi.
But despite its natural beauty and growing popularity, basic facilities are yet to find their way to the coastline village, which falls under the authority of the Karachi West district.
