Sonmiani is a coastal town in the southeast of Balochistan province in Pakistan, approximately 145 kilometres northwest of Karachi.
The coast of Sonmiani is the northernmost point of the Arabian Sea and it is located in the Lasbela District. Near Sonmiani is the town of Hub, a small financial and industrial district.
The beach is a two-hour drive from Karachi. It’s under the control of Pakistan army and it is open to their guests. People may use the facilities by paying for them however army reference is mandatory to enter.
It is also one most calm and clean beaches because it is not open to everyone. It is also a very safe place to enjoy a night with the family.

The Sonmiani Beach has many activities including boat ride, quad bike, children play area, BBQ and Bonfire areas, etc.
There are only few huts but they are very comfortable and equipped with amenities. There is washing and cleaning area in front of each hut to clean yourself before entering the huts.
The sight of the sunset, gazing the waves in the moonlight and the sunrise views are particularly spectacular.
Sonmiani is at one end of the world's longest estimated straight-line path over water (32,090 km, ending at the Kamchatka Peninsula in Russia)
