Discovered by a group of bikers in 2017 the Buji Koh - Sapat Beach is one of the famous sandy beaches in Pakistan.
The meaning of Buji is Single Standing and koh means mountain/hill hence it translates into Single Standing Mountain.
Buji Koh is around 250 kilometers west of Karachi, it takes 4 hour to reach Agore. At this point, there is small flagpole indicating left turn and drive further south off road for 45 minutes.
This beach is situated on the Makran Coastal line at a distance of 780 km from Quetta, Balochistan.
There is another route which is approximately an hour tough off road drive along the ocean from the Chandragup Mud Volcano.
Buji Koh is the isolated standing steep cliff in the tides of the beach, rising from the coastal sand. Mud rock structure stretches along the beach.
Sapat beach has several caves however one should avoid venturing into those caves due to their weak structure.
The Sapat Beach also famous for different types of species living sea such as crabs, jelly fish, dolphins, turtles, etc.
There’s no 4×4 vehicles available there so plan only if you have a 4 wheel drive.
Take snacks, canned food, drinking water with you as there’s no facility anywhere near to this place nor there is any cellular connectivity for several miles.
