The villager of Chuhar Jamali is known by the name of a man whose name was "Chuhar" and by caste, he was "Jamali".

It is about 156km from Karachi, 52 km from Thatta and 26km from Sujawal City.

River Sind flow just a few kilometers north east of the village.The famous Palla (Ilish) fish is found in these waters.

South of Chuhar Jamali, apporximately 30 km is the old port of Shahbandar (Port Master).

It's an agriculture based village, however, Camel farms are also found here.

Main crops of Chuhar Jamali are Sunflower, Sugar Cane, Rice and Tomatoes, Green Chillies, and other vegitables.
